Lo-fi has come to #WEATNU wt/ Frapp
New genres hit our label from time to time, as we’ve seen vaporwave, synthwave, synthpop and even indiepop in the last 4 years, so it’s nothing shocking that we found ourselves serving the lo-fi community suddenly. We’re always moving with the underground, because the underground is who we focus on. New music is always springing up there and talent is plentiful worldwide. Thanks to social media and these artists, they have the ability to be heard. One such artist this month, Frapp, from Fayetteville, North Carolina – released his latest EP – April. With deep, sub-bass and hip-hop like 808 hats. The booming bass alone is enough to comfort you on a rainy day. Frapp continues to release new music to weatnu records, so look out for his releases through Bandcamp and Spotify, including streaming platforms.
