When a label has been down the same path for years, one has to consider that changes should be on the way. Due to the artist’s awareness that has been brought to my attention, including constant thought – it is my hope that we can make WEATNU Records and Transmission Nova a much more awesome place to release music to. It starts with compilation CDs, so the fan can hold our music in their hands. In the past, we only released comp albums to digital, but now, we are shooting for so much more. The goal for WEATNU Records has always been to get this music into indie record stores, mom and pop and brick and mortar shops, in various parts of the world. If this reality were to happen, it would be a pivotal moment for us, in our 8th year starting December.
The plan, is to begin this transition in 2023.
Let’s hope for this reality.
