Let’s face it, today it’s getting harder to buy music that you can hold affordably. It’s been a great endeavor for our label to give the fans a way to own this great music on records, but with the rising cost of vinyl, and the demand for it, we’ve decided to go down another path, at least until the vinyl bubble bursts. We started with digital and we’re good at it. Musicians like to release under different mediums. USB is one idea we’re thinking about and of course tape. Tape and USB is much more approachable in terms of business, especially for a small indie label. The unattainable (golden) overpriced vinyl record has become like the gold rush all over again. Sure it’s great, it will last forever, or until you break it, melt it or just don’t take take care of it, but people love music no matter what they are holding. The other idea is mini-disc. It’s obscure but it’s nice to have that not-so-lasting medium from the late 90s to mid-early 2000s with your music on it. Look to our future releases in one or all these forms, except vinyl of course.
